Options & Decorations

Attention to detail is what makes the difference between good truly great stationery. We aim to anticipate the options and decorations that our clients see as most important and incorporate those into our standard range of embellishments. Of course when choosing our bespoke service there’s no limit to your design choices.

 

Ribbon Choices

Choose from a broad range of satin ribbons to personalise your chosen design or colour theme. We only offer the best quality materials, and should you require us to try to match a particular colour or would like a sample we’re happy to oblige.

Font & Wording Choices

Choosing your wording and/or typeface (font) is probably the main detail design decisions you’ll need to make. We’ve provided a small selection of typical wordings for both day and evening invitations, though you may choose to modify these or provide us with your own wording. There’s no charge for us to incorporate your changes or wording.

Ink Colour Choices

We offer a wide range of top quality inks as standard, and should you require even more choice we provide an additional colour mixing service to match a colour reference or material swatch.

Motifs and Type Decorations

We offer a range of standard motifs that can be included in your stationery to add a finishing touch. We can create a monogram of your initials or a bespoke drawing of a particular design that can be used throughout your stationery.

Paper Choices

We choose our paper stocks with great care, with a particular eye on the quality and where and how it’s made, more about this on our environmental policy. Our classic designs are created using a particular stock choice to suit the product, however you can specify your own stock choice and create a bespoke product. We can supply stock swatches on request.

Hot Foiling Hot Foiling is an excellent way to add a high quality sparkle to your stationery. Foiling can be incorporated as part of your artwork or perhaps as a monogram or line of text, and we can foil in a wide range of colours.

Calligraphy / Wax Sealing / Postal Service We offer an in-house calligraphy service for invitations and envelopes, providing an elegant touch of sophistication for the ultimate hand embellishment. As part of our calligraphy service we can wax seal the invitation (see Milano range) or the invitation envelopes. Some of our clients prefer us to complete the stationery, address and post the finished items to their guest list as an additional service.

Envelope Printing Adding a final touch to your invitations can be in the form of your names and/or motif printed on your invitation envelopes, this can be in the form of letterpress printing or hot foiling.
